EqSport is an equestrian training, coaching and sport consulting business owned and operated by Olympian, Liz Ashton. EqSport is focused on the development of high performance athletes both human and equine.
LIZ ASHTON
In June 2009 Liz is retiring as President of Camosun College in Victoria, BC and is returning full time to coaching, training and show jumping competition.

- Team Gold medalist 1978 World Championships
- 4th in the FEI Women’s World Show Jumping rankings (1972)
- Leading International Rider, 1972 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
- First Canadian to win the prestigious President`s Cup, Washington, DC
- Leading Foreign Rider, Washington International Horse Show 1972
- Winner of two international Puissance classes (6’8” and 7’1”)
- Chairperson Canadian Eventing Team (1988 – 1992) managed the Team and its development programs
- Co-Designer of the National Coaching Certification program for equestrian coaches
- CEF National Examiner and Master Course Conductor.
- Canadian Equestrian Team Board of Directors (1988-1992)
- Director of Equine Studies, Humber College (1973 – 1980)
- Owner and Operator of Westwinds Farm (1973-1986); training facility for race horses, jumpers and three day event horses.
- Currently competing in show jumping competitions throughout Western Canada, the N.W. United States and California.
